California Conquest (sh. Osvajanje Kalifornije) je američki historijski film snimljen 1952. godine u režiji Lewa Landersa. Radnja je smještena u Kaliforniju početkom 1840-ih i prikazuje kako lokalno plemstvo (hidalgosi), svjesno slabosti tadašnje meksićke vlasti, namjerava teritoriju predati pod vlast Ruskog Carstva. Protagonist, koga tumači Cornel Wilde, je pristaša aneksije Kalifornije od strane SAD koji se toj zavjeri nastoji suprotstaviti. California Conquest je snimljen u jeku eskalacije hladnog rata, odnosno na vrhuncu makartističke histerije, te je nastojao iskoristiti antikomunističko i antisovjetsko raspoloženje u američkoj javnosti; tako su Rusi u filmu glavni negativci, pa čak i anakronistički citiraju marksističko-lenjninističke parole decenijama prije Oktobarske revolucije i dolaska boljševika na vlast.
